using barcode reader in excel

Hi everyone,
i would like to be able to read barcodes from products into my excel application..any guidelines?

just plug the thing in
the bar code reader will convert the bar code to keyboard inputs
get a USB one

read the manual scan the code you wan to use

yes it that easy

The hardest bit is getting the bar code onto the product

thanks it actually worked. yeah, i agree the hardest part is to get the bar code onto the products. for now i am dealing with already coded product.
