A "Blank" value?

Howdy,

I'm routinely plotting data that includes random empty cells. I'd like the graph to skip the blank cells - not to plot zero and not to break the plot line.

I see an option under "Options - Charts" to interpolate empty cells, but the whole set of options for for empty cells is disabled.

Any ideas?

ok, so I got the options to come alive. They don't fix the problem, which is the graph treating the blanks as zeros.

Any ideas on how to get a graph to skip blank values?

solution

Found the answer:

NA() which returns #N/A in the cell which is ignored by he graph.
