Excel to Access Help

Hi folks I am in need of your help.
I have an excel file that has a user form.
That user form imports data into Access
I would like a code that will check to see if the data has already previously been imported.
Excel file has data and a command button
The command button imports the data into an access table
Again I would like the code to check to see if the data alreay exisits
to prevent duplicate data.
