Cant open excel files! HELP

Hi guys this might be a very silly question to some of you but i am quite a newbie with excel, have only just started using it for 2 days for the first time in my entire life and i am 25 >< (shame on me haha). Anyways i have a excel file that i need to open which was created with excel 2007 but i have excel 2003 and i can't open it.

Can anybody help me with solving this so i can open the file without having to go out and purchase microsoft office 2007. Is there a way to view it with excel 2003?

Email it to a friend who is using Excel2007 and request him to open and save it in 2003 format and send it back to you.

Emailing a friend all the time to convert a file for you could become a bit monotonous for you both, follow the link if it works, or just Google Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack, install and enjoy
