Hello, I was wondering the opinion of those experts out there. What is an online database that has functions that best sync up with excel style documents, and can create similar looking pages?

Google docs.

I agree, why not use Google docs spreadsheet. It is definitely like an excel and some of excel menu are available although not all of course. But it is more accessible and that is very easy to use.
