Question click to change colours

Hi, we have created an index in a spreadsheet with a macro that moves the user to various other worksheets within the same workbook. The macro trigger text is located within the bounderies of an autoshape.

What we are trying to do is have the autoshape change colour to grey when clicked in order to denote that the macro has been fired at least once during the current session.

And just for bonus points, we would like the colours to reset when the user exits the worksheet

If anyone can help with code for this it would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks.
