SQL enterprise manager view from excel?

As the title suggests, I'm trying to simply run a SEM view from excel. Is it possible to do this?
Alternatively I would like to cut and paste the sql query from the view into excel vba, but the syntax gets all messed up.
I should add that I'm doing this in a macro within excel
Thanks for any help!
