Have to "edit" cell to apply change

Hi,
I have a MS Excel 2007 workbook, the first sheet has some fields that are using VLOOKUP to pull info from other sheets. The key field logical test field is formatted as text and it is used to look up the values from other sheets. It seems that the updates don't happen unless I have to edit (F2) each cell in the logical test field. Is there a way I can apply that F2 action to all the rows? Or is there away that I can format it that it can do the look up with out manual edit?

Thanks

Hi,

It sounds like your calculations are set to manual. With the workbook open, go to the Formulas tab on the ribbon > Calculation Options > Automatic.
