Help with a Formula to Blank a Linked Cell

Hello,

I need help in blanking out a cell filled with a linked date (1/0/1900).

I am linking cells from one spreadsheet to another and I receive this date format (1/0/1900) on all blank cells.

Here is my linked formula.
='[MS155 WO LOG.xlsx]Sheet1'!AA271

I am using Excel 2010.

Very much appreciate the help.
