Question Heeeeeelp!!!

I have datas like this: -5.30E-05
which is supposed to mean -0.000053, right?

But my excel refuses to see it as a number, I tried everything I knew, but nothing worked. The format doesn't change anything...

How can I force Excel to recognize it as a number? I won't change it manually to -0.000053, I have more than 12,000 number like this...

Welcome to the Board!

Have you checked your column width? Expand it until you see your # shown fully and I think you'll be ok.

Hope that helps,

Smitty

Somebody found the solution this morning. It was the regional parameters of my computer, it didn't recognize the " . " in the number, so it saws it as text.

Thanks anyway!
