On launching Excel XP, it always opens a certain file, not Book1 as it should. This is getting pretty annoying. I havent seen anything relatin to this in the Options menu. Where should i look?
Thanks!

Perhaps you saved a file in the XL Start folder. Exit Excel.
Go to: Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office 10\XLStart
The only thing that should be there is Personal.xls. If any other file, then move it to another location (don't trash it yet, in case there is something you need). Now start Excel and see what happens.

This may depend upon the version your using, but in the tools > options >general options one can set the default start up sheet, work book and etc. Check there.
