Excel Autoshapes

Anyone know of a way to create a rectangle autoshape in the form of a frame so you can place it over a cell and and still be able to select the cell behind the frame, as is the case with the donut autoshape currently in excel? Any help is appreciated.

I did a test with the "donut" shape" then put my cursor on a cell beside it and moved the arrow keys to go to the cell behind the shape. Worked fine

But I can't use the donut shape because it's not the right shape. I need it to be of a rectangle shape!
