Great Scott - he's only right Pat!

shipcreak - some months ago dbforums had a bit of a disaster. The irony is not lost on us - dbforums managed to lose a lot of data. Our contact has confirmed that some of the posts are gone, never to return. I guess the Ghost records in SQL 2000 thread has become a Ghost Record in MySQL.

Pat - did you keep a copy of this or did you rely on iNet's backup strategy? A shame - I know you mentioned you fancied starting another geek thread. I really enjoyed this one - it was so far over my head it was like I'd never heard of or laid my hands on SQL Server.
