hi,
your error message is not giving me full data however try the following
add your asp.net user to administrators group and reset the IIS using resetiis utility then you may not get the problem
if the problem exists try the following
add the key like this
<add key="brain" value="server=SOURAV;User Id=sa;Password=#sa; database=test;Connection Reset=FALSE;Max Pool Size=500;Connection Timeout=360"/>

i hope this may be useful to you.

thanks,

First of all, using sa for your application is just an invitation to hackers to download all of your data, and take over your server. Look up SQL Injection attacks for more information.

As to the error, look at the state passed with the error number, and cross reference here: http://blogs.msdn.com/sql_protocols/...21/536201.aspx

Also make sure that TCP / IP and Named Pipes are enabled in
Sql Server Configuration Manager.
