Question Length specified in network packet payload did not match number of bytes read

Hello every one
I am getting this in my event log from time to time . not sure what is that ?
Is this a hacker trying to send rubbish data to SQL through the port ?
Any help is appreciated .

Length specified in network packet payload did not match number of bytes read; the connection has been closed. Please contact the vendor of the client library. [CLIENT: someip]

Smile No worries about it

you do not need to worry about it , there is some software or port scanner that searches your computer for open ports , it sends a packet to your sql server that it cannot deal with so it logs this error .

Anyways make sure your sa password is very long and complex , to be safe against brute force attacks on your sa account .
