Full text search with charset

hi
i have a problem with full text search
because in the column there is persian word
and the difference with ' ی ' and ' ي '
so the function freetext can not find .
i want to find charset ( ' ی ' )
so serach with
charset in full text serach.

please help if anyone knows abount that.

How is that column defined? (datatype)

full text search

sql server 2000 with data type nvarchar
but in full text serach it cant differ between ' D ' and ' ي '
anybody say to me search with charset
is it correct or you have any solution ?

If your data type had been VARCHAR or CHAR, the solution would have been obvious. Now it isn't.
I don't have any experience with Persian characters. I hope someone else can help you out.
