join between two tables in different databases

Hello, New to sql so need a little help.I have to join two tables which are in two different databases which are on different servers..can someone please tell me how can i do that.

This link has just one more link and that is linked server's and the question was asked for sql server 2008..is that the same route i have to follow..A sql example if you can give would be very helpful.

Yes, look at linked servers, they are the same in SQL 2005.
