Question Security Vulnerabilities of SS2008 in SS2000 Compatibility Mode?

I am working with SQL Server 2008 running a SQL Server 2000 database in compatibility mode 80. My management wants to know if there are any known security vulnerabilities by running it in compatibility mode 80.

I am not aware of any except the fact that they are passing up the availability of using better security features in compatibility mode 100.

Would anyone have any ideas about this? Any known vulnerabilities?

Thanks ahead of time for your help!
