Red face connect to MS SQL via Solaris (using OLE DB...)

Hi!

I'm facing a problem. It's quite simple really:
I have an application which needs OLE DB to connect to MS SQL.
The thing is that this application resides on a Solaris server and the OLE DB driver is Win only....

So, how can I work around this? I have looked at freeTDS and some others but I not sure what to go for.

Any ideas?

Best regards,
Paul

An application that runs directly on Solaris can not use OLE DB because Solaris itself does not support OLE DB. You'll need to use one of the Windows emulation packages or a virtual machine to enable that application to run on a Solaris based machine. As your Solaris admin for suggestions, they can help you pick the right choice.
