Hello,

I am writing to all of you out there who are running mysql, and have large concurrency - at least 300 concurrent transactions.

My concern is what kind of hardware will handle that. How many cpus and what kind?

If someone can share experience with concurrent transactions and how their server behaves.

I am new to MySQL and will be building a database that could be accesed concurrently from 300 or more users, going up to more than 1000, I just want to be prepared for those 1000 transactions.

Any suggestions and advcices will be really appreciated.
