perhaps someone of you can help me out of this.
My problem is as follows.

I have installed the mysql - Server on a computer(192.168.0.20) in my network and now i´m trying to access mysql from the computer 192.168.0.10. And it doesn´t work.

The Error-Message is "Can´t connect to mysql on 192.168.0.20 ... try the ping command to check...."

But normal access from 192.168.0.10 to 192.168.0.20 is possible.

Did I forget to configure anything?

Well Did you configure your firewall well?

My Firewall accepts connections from every host to every host within the LAN.

If i ping the other computer via the windows commandline, everything works fine at all!
