I am developing a MySQL/PHP web system right now that needs to track information for multiple municipalities. We had wanted to use INNODB for it's transactional capabilties, but we also wanted to keep each municipalities information in a seperate database. There will also be a global database of information that all municipalities need to modify also. Is there a way to seperate this information by database and still use transactions effectively?
