From Access to MySQL

I have installed MySQL server, ODBC 3.51, and converted my Access tables to MySQL. Would like to connect from Access through ODBC to MySQL and I am stumped. Can anyone point me to the available literature for guidance? (I know, I have a lot to read).

migrate access to mysql

i have tried using Navicat ( http://www.navicat.com/ ) to convert my access to mysql and it works great! If you like MS Access, Navicat's intuitive interface and features would be an ideal tool for replacement.

It also supports migration through ODBC.

Access2MySQL is another Access to MySQL tool.

Hello,

You can try also our products from http://data-conversions.net

Besides scheduled conversion with synchronization Access2MySQL product line performs a great number of additional features:
- Win and Linux: ability to work under/for different platforms (PHP Script)
- Ability to select ISAM, MYISAM, HEAP, InnoDB, BDB table types
- Ability to replace symbols in names of tables and fields (which are required not to be used as they are reserved symbols for MySQL internal purposes) with a substitute symbol.

Best Regards,
DMSoft Technologies.
