i have setup a forum phpbb2 version 2.0.10 NO problems with the install !
this for testing the mysql database / in setup used option mysql 3 default

phpnuke the nukesql.php give me a error
Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: sql_db in E:\WebCareHosting\Accounts\fat32clan****\root\www\d b\db.php on line 86

Question: cane it be that my provider is using a old version for myqsl
that is not good for phpnuke... or he needs to edit some settings

This isn't really a mysql question. You are more likely to get an answer if you can find a board that discusses the phpnuke program.
