I just transferred my site via shell access so there shouldn't be any problems. Databas backup has been uploaded. My tech did a MySQL reboot and still nothing.

Are there any steps I could take to get the MySQL back online that perhaps I haven't tried already?

Any comments or help would be greatly appreciated.

What does the MySQL error log say? MySQL is really good about logging why it failed to start. For Linux this is probably /var/lib/mysql/`hostname`.err
