Many to many relationships?

Hey,

I want to set up a table of users and assign various attributes to them. Say there are up to 10 attributes they can be given, but they'll probably only use three or so of them. Seems a bit of a waste to have 7 blank fields, but then how could I implement this using other tables?

Any suggestions gratefully received!

Thanks in advance,

Mat
