How to activate log files?
Hello, I'm using MySql Server 3.23.58 and I want to activate the logfile. I only need loggings from updates on the fields of my database. How can I do that. Do I have to add something to the file my.ini?

3.23, that's pretty ancient. In 4.x you set the directory location in log-bin. See http://dev.mysql.com/doc/internals/e...inary-log.html for details.
