Is there any information that would confirm that mysql 4.1 is so much faster than 3.2?

I am running it on win32 and i was running 3.2 for about a year now and just upgaded to 4.1 and it's so incredibly fast.

I had queries before that took me about 3.8 sec and now with mysql 4.1 they take less than 0.4 seconds!!!!!

more importantly you can now make use of GROUP_CONCAT and subqueries among many other things. All I can ask is what took you so long? :-)
