Support for InnoDB checkbox in MySQL Administrator

Hi,

The "Support fot InnoDB" checkbox is unchecked in the MySQL Administrator but all of my tables are InnoDB and they are running fine. This doesn't make sense given what I read about this option.

MySql Administrator
Support for InnoDB: If checked, the MySQL server is started with support for InnoDB tables. If unchecked, it doesn't start the InnoDB storage engine; this saves memory, but InnoDB tables cannot be used.

Can anyone explain?
