Newbie Question re: classes

This is probably a dumb question, but I just started using this today, so please bear with me....

Are classes available with any release of MySQL? I'm trying to use a script that relies on classes and class objects, but am having problems, so was wondering if the ability to use classes is an additional feature that has to be installed?

I'm using mysql version 3.23.58

Thanks!

Are you using another programming language (JAVA, php...) to access the MySQL database? Post your script/classes/something with more info.

Also, you may want to consider upgrading your version of MySQL if you can. 3.x is fairly outdated.
