I need to add the MySQL user I created to run my website to the database name of my forums. I found the MySQL user and have copied it but where is the database of my forums and how do I get to it??

One of your scripts (PHP or someother) should have a config file containing the database name, etc. You should mention the forum name too - most forums use a similar format for storing such info.
