Hi all, have just upgarded to MySQL 5.0 the database its self is wroking fine. I thought I should upgrade my connector as well to the MySQL Connector/ODBC v5 however this brings back the following error upon executing any rs:

Microsoft VBScript runtime (0x800A01FB)
An exception occurred: 'execute'

I have now reverted back to the MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver and found it works fine, just wondering what the problem is or if any one has had the same experience.

Also noticed that in the data sources when testing connections the drop down list of databsaes is all messed up but when typed in it tests fine connection string also works but when a simple sql statement is executed the error occurs.

Ne Ideas?

I'm using MySQL 5.0 for my back-end.. I'm trying out MySQL Connector/ODBC v5 to link my database to my VB6 front-end... seems that everytime I run the program an error occurs... When I switched back to MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver everthing seem to work.. Does switching to version 5 requires additional coding?
