I have changed the hostname from localhost to anamika host. When i wanted to create a database in new hostname, it said the access is denied to new host name. How can i change access rights of new hostname. I am working under Red hat Linux

what privileges have you GRANTED to the users at your new hostname, on which databases?

Or what privileges have you set through MySQL Administrator to the users at your new hostname, on which databases?
