When you enter /r ???
Where are you "entering" this information?
What is it you are trying to achieve?

Thanks for replying, aschk.

My goal is a local host for testing web pages. The screen is different now.

I start "MySQL Command Line Prompt".

I get a login prompt and log in.

\r now says: "ID 5" and "no table found."

I installed Apache and get the login screen.
I installed PHP5 and can run a test script.
