did install mysql sw in local system running under -windows xp professional ) -
which displayed mysql installed sucessfully.
i assume the 1st step to use this software is this need to be configured -> to do that i did go through my sql server instance config wizard in the last step did encounter an error - c:\program files\mysql\mysql server 5.0\bin\my-template.cnf file not found.
couple of questions here -

1st> is there any log files that gets generated when this sw gets installed.
2nd> what is the meaning of the above error & what is the solution ?
3rd> is there any restriction that this sw can't get installed in windows xp box ?
4th> any better link covering brief but good information about mysql archtecture/installation/how to use etc ?
