Question mysql console. addons?

hi
Just wondering what you're using to interact with db. I guess most of you use phpmyadmim. I would like to use mysql native console but I find it somehow slow... not much of autocomplete, no bookmarking or the like, one line editing (well you can do \ but then you'll have hard time editing it) etc...
Any tips&tricks on using console...ways to enhance it etc?
What are your thoughts on this...what are you using... r937?

I only use PHPMyAdmin when I have to.. when connecting to a server I don't have control of or cannot specify what can be used. otherwise I use MySQL Admin (and or MySQL Query browser as appropriate from the MySQL GUI Tools

Boith are available from the MySQL site in Windows & *nix flavours

I know you're kidding but...don't get the joke

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Computer_console

Another way to put it...is the thing you get when you connect through mysql -u some_user -p
