i am trying to query database to find out if a apartments of a particular building is book or not.

table are somthing like

tblbuilding
========

idbuilding
title
numberofApartments

tblbooking
========

idbooking
apartmentNumber
idbuilding
dateto
datefrom


============
so i want to check how many units are available on particular date or period.


any help would be appropriated.
