Smile Overwriteable backup files

Hi all,

I'm new to mySQL and am trying to navigate through the GUI tool. I would like to be able to create a daily backup which overwrites each time, so that we only ever have one set of backup files on the server at any time. Our disaster recovery software will take the files and move them elsewhere daily, so that we can avoid filling up the server unneccesarily.

I'd like to know if this is possible using the GUI, and if not what is the best way to go about it? Am I best to write a shell script to delete the files once they have been copied?

Thanks,
Paula
