counter memory

Here is my configuration

MEMORY USAGE
Max Memory Ever Allocated : 6 G
Configured Max Per-thread Buffers : 6 G
Configured Max Global Buffers : 2 G
Configured Max Memory Limit : 8 G
Physical Memory : 7.92 G

Max memory limit exceeds 90% of physical memory

Configured Max Memory Limit > Physical Memory

InnoDB data size=142 M
InnoDB buffer pool=2.0G
32 Bit Linux platform
database size =314.20 Mb

To counter ther memory usage is it better to make InnoDB buffer pool <2.0G
