hi

i installed Mysql 5.1.30-log

OS:-Fedora release 8 (Werewolf)
RAM >1GB
when I use my-small.cnf as my.cnf
works fine

but when i use my-large.cnf as my.cnf
gives following error

Starting MySQL.Manager of pid-file quit without updating fi[FAILED]

when i start service

even when i use my-small.cnf as my.cnf and make enable innodb
the same error i got ???

what does the MySQL error log say?
