I am totally new to MySQL and I am trying to learn via. video tutorial (Vtc.com).

The guy is using the MySQL Monitor for the tutorial. I want to use the same or as similar as possible. Where can I download this from???

The MySQL Monitor ships as part of MySQL.

Thought I should also mention XAMPP which is a single windows executable that sets up MySQL, Apache etc etc on your PC (if that's what you're doing). It's very simple to set up and use.
