Basics: how to create and access an embedded db with C#?

Hello forum,

I was wondering if someone could point me to a tutorial of how to create and connect to an embedded mySQL database in .NET C#? Preferably one that uses beginner-friendly language.

Yes, I've googled my heart out for this, but most of the results I've found were from 2004-2005, and made references to .NET 1.5, etc..

Please help. Thank you.

ps. Sorry if my terminology is incorrect, I'm very new.

The "basics" should be the same as 1.5, but I want to point out that this is neither a C# nor a mysql message board.

One of those wild and crazy moderator types might possibly move your post to either MySQL or the .NET forum. Why look, one appears to have already done that! Amazing!
