I have database on 'LocalHost'. I have developed Vb 2008 application to access my DB. It is working fine. Now I need to use application out side of my server. I have Dynamic IP.. so.. I have configured DNS on my Router. It is Http://supun24.go.dyndns.org on port:80. [192.168.1.200]. What is the HostName should I use to connect from outside??? Is there any changes to do in MySQL settings???

Configure your router to forward port 3306 to the IP address of your DB. Then you'll access it using supun23.go.dyndns.org.

Also, make sure that MySQL user is set to be able to login from anywhere (username@%).
