Any body help me please.

I am a newbie to the database administration.I am using Mysql5.0 version. When i start the service the mysql-max-nt.exe utilizes the maximum CPU utilization, almost about 98 percent. 22 users are using the server concurrently. Anybody please help me to get rid of problem.
