Does anyone know anything about OWL concepts and how they are transformed into relational database concepts? I have an ontology which is used in protege that has class, subclass, instance, object and data property. I am new to database design and was wondering if someone could guide me in the right direction.

Is a class and subclass the same as an entity in database?
Does a subclasses inheritant from class?
Is instance the same as a row in database?
Is object and data property the same as a column in database?

Also, are their any websites or books that can help with learning how to design a database in MySQL?
