Source command Question

The exported file file1.sql is about 800 MB when I imported using Source file1.sql, it executed and all table are created. To cross check, when I exported the newly created DB the size was 120 MB .sql file only. I don't understand why, can anyone help me out.

Note: During the execution, I have seen "QUERY OK,0 records created"
