Post Forum Newbie Question

Hi All,

Thanks in advance if anyone can help me!!

What are the added bonuses of using a RDBMS?
Can anyone recommend any good websites where I can find out about the advantages of using a RDBMS, its security, all the advantages really.

I really do appreciate any help here as I am currently doing a Degree in Information and Computer Science.

Many thanks again.

Daz.
