Hi There everybody

I have a general question regarding database design tools.
What is the preferred tool of choice choice ?
i´m a novis but studing and learning more everyday, i havent been able to download the MySql Workbench Gui Tool ( Yet ) from the mysql.com
I did mail them about this..
Any suggestions would be apprechiated.
