I have a questions regarding about choosing the correct charset.
i planning on creating a database for swedish users.

I see that there are several options for me to choose from

dec8 | DEC West European | dec8_swedish_ci | 1 |
latin1 | cp1252 West European | latin1_swedish_ci | 1 |
swe7 | 7bit Swedish | swe7_swedish_ci | 1

or can i just use the deafult one ?
i´m new at this so bare with, if my questions are a little trivial or simple.

if the charset is based on the same dimensions as your database and space then you can relatively use that one to synchronize the present charset.

i will have that in consideration when creating the db.
