Advice on Database Model

Hi Everyone,

I'm, new to this forum and was recommended it by a friend.

I am new to database design so I have been working on MySQL Workbench to try design a database for an event booking system.

So far my EER diagram looks like the attached image and I'm looking for some advice/help on weather it is the best way to do it and how I could improve it etc.

How I want the system to work is the administrator will create a new event including Name, Date, Price, Ticket Types etc which will then be stored in the relevant DB tables. The customer can then select this event along with a ticket type on the front end and complete a form to purchase.

I would really appreciate some help on this as I am very keen to learn more.

Thanks
Robert
